Umut Bulut returns to Turkey !

Former Ankaragucu striker Umut Bulut has returned to Turkey after signing a one year loan deal with Champions Galatasaray. The 29 year old spent last year with Tolouse after moving from Trabzonspor. He didn't have the best of seasons scoring only 4 goals. Umut has been on good form for the National side though under Abdullah Avci.

With Ankaragucu relegated to Bank Aysa, Umut will be hoping the clubs meet in the Turkish Cup if he is to face his old club.

  1. I wouldn't under normal circumstances wish a player going to Galatasaray ........ good luck, but the exception is Umut Bulut.

He was one of the Ankaragucu greats of recent times and we all shed bucket loads of tears when he was transferred to Trabzon.

I'm sure he will be a big success this season alongside the other impressive signings which Galatasaray have made.
