Ankaragucu today released the prices for this years season tickets. Prices range from 100 Turkish Lira - 150 Turkish Lira depending on where you sit. Excellent value for money compared to what you pay back here in the UK.
This weeks match will be played on Saturday night at 20:00 PM and will be shown live on TRT Spor. Club President Bent Ahlat who promised to lift the transfer ban on Monday has failed to deliver yet another promise. The transfer deadline for Turkish Teams is Saturday 1st of September so he is running out of time. Will he be yet another President who promises so much but fails to deliver ? Time will tell.
Another reminder that Saturdays match will be women and children only due to the club being handed a 1 match stadium ban for crowd trouble last season.

Ankaragucu started the season with a 2-1 defeat at Kayseri Erciyesspor and can thank the referee for giving the home side a helping hand.
Team line up: Bayram, Orhan, Volkan, Umit, Mehmet, Bilal, Mert, Serkan, Kaan, Timur, Hasan
Subs Used : Teoman, Sinan, Gokhan Akkan, Gokhan Erdogan, Aytac, Gurkan, Metin
Ankaragucu took a 2000 strong away crowd to the game in Kayseri and they were on there feet after 25 minutes when Timur Ozgoz got onto the end of a nice through ball, the striker kept his calm before slotting the ball past Behram in the Kayseri goal. It was an excellent finish from the striker who made his long awaited debut.
Ankaragucu passed the ball about well and the defence with Umit Kurt in particular looking solid. Then came the changing point in the match. Goalscorer Ozgoz went up for a challenge with the Kayseri defender, the referee rushed to the striker before handing him a red card for an alleged elbow. Replays show the decision was wrong and there was no contact and no attempt at an elbow.
There is no doubting this changed the match. Ankaragucu put men behind the ball to try and hold out for the win and went in at half time 1-0 up.
The second half started and Kayseri took the game to Ankaragucu. After 54 minutes a nice through ball found Mehmet Ayaz and he took his time before putting the ball past Bayram Olgun. The young Ankaragucu team looked out on their feet at this point.
Kayseri continued to dominate and got the winning goal ten minutes from time. Poor defending down the left hand side from Ankaragucu allowed Kayseri in and the ball found new signing Gohou who put the ball into the back of the net.
A defeat for Yilmaz Ozlem in his first game in charge. He now must pick his players up and hope that tomorrow the transfer ban will be lifted. This young Ankaragucu team needs some experience to help them get through this difficult season.

Ankaragucu kick off their season this coming Sunday away at Kayseri Erciyesspor. Every match this season will be a difficult match for Ankaragucu but an away match to start the season might take some of the pressure from this young side. Ankaragucu lost all their first team players last season apart from Aydin Toscali. The clubs former captain left in the summer to join Mersin which leaves the club with no first team players. Both Mehmet Cogum and Muhammet Turkmen have been training with the club but it remains to be seen if they will stay on with the club this season.
Kayserispor Erciyesspor known as the blue dragons finished 8th last season in the Turkish Bank Asya. A tough competitive league which saw the likes of Elazigspor, Akhisar and Kasimpasa all promoted last season. Veli Torun left Ankaragucu in the summer to sign with the blue dragons and will be hoping to get one over on his old team mates. The club have also added Ustun Biligi to their squad this season after his move to Ankaragucu fell through last week. The striker hoped to have signed for Ankaragucu but the club have failed to lift the current transfer ban.
Ankaragucu have the youngest squad in the league for a second year running. The club have struggled in pre season scoring only 2 goals and playing only 4 games. The key players for Ankaragucu this season will be the likes of Bilal Gulden, Mert Erdogan, Serkan Sirin and their will be big expectation for teenage strikers Hasan Ayaroglu and Sinan Kurumus.
Their will be 2000 Ankaragucu fans travelling to the Kadir Has stadium in Kayseri to cheer on Ankaragucu. Lets hope they can take something from this game. Ankaragucu will need to be well organised at the back as well as putting away any chances that come their way. My prediction is a 0-0 draw.

Team Line Up - Gokhan, Aytac, Volkan, Umit, Mehmet Tasci, Mert, Serkan, Hasan, Timur, Kaan, Sinan
Subs : Orhan, Metin, Yildiz, Bilal, Gokhan, Teoman
Both teams struggled to take control of the game in the first half, and it was the visitors who had the best chance but for a fantastic save from 18 year old Gokhan Akkan. Ankaragucu had a couple of half chances in the first half but their final ball always let them down.
Half time 0-0
Ankaragucu came out for the second half and dominated the game, they always looked to play football from back to front and deservedly took the lead on 79 minutes through Hasan Ayaroglu. The game looked to be heading for 1-0 until substitute Orhan Evci scored late on to make it 2-0.
A good result for Ankaragucu. The club announced they will now look to lift the transfer ban on Tuesday and also interview for the vacant managers job.
New Ankaragucu president Bent Ahlat spoke today about the future of the club and the obstacles they look to overcome. It is now uncertain weather the club will play at the 19 Mayis stadium this season due to debts to the company the stadium is rented from. The club share the rent with Genclerbirligi and will now speak with Ilhan Cavcav to see if he can help the club which will allow them to play their football at the 19 Mayis stadium.
Ahlat also spoke today saying the club are still in discussions with the Turkish FA to lift the transfer ban. 9 Million is needed to lift the ban but the club are hoping to strike a deal which will allow them to pay this back over a period of time. He also claimed their are a number of players waiting to sign for the club if the ban is lifted.
The club have now opened membership to the fans at a cost of 1000 Turkish Lira. Erdal Sanli spoke of this on his twitter account saying that this is a scam and has his doubts over the new president. Melih Gokcek also claimed on twitter that he will change the name of Ankaraspor to Ankaragucu A.S next season when they play in the Super Lig, A decision that would split the Ankaragucu support.

Ankaragucu continue to add much needed new faces to their squad as the season fast approaches. The club are still in the process of trying to lift the transfer ban which means the players haven't signed contracts. Earlier this week we revealed the club had signed Anil Gursoy from Eskisehirspor and also took two African players on trial.
The club have also signed former German youth international Timur Ozgoz from BFC Viktoria and Ustun Bilgin from Kizilakahamamspor. Both players are strikers and Timur actually had a spell with Ankaragucu in 2011 but was loaned out to Bugsas Spor. He failed to make a single appearance for Ankaragucu before returning to Germany. But now it looks like he will return to the club and sign a contract if the transfer ban is lifted.
In other news Ankaragucu will play Kizilakahamamspor on Sunday at the clubs Bestepe training facility.
